Dr. Cunjiang Yu is Dorothy Quiggle Career Development Associate Professor at Pennsylvania State University in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics, the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and the Materials Research Institute. He was the Bill D. Cook Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston till 2021. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State University (2007-2010) and finished postdoc training with Prof. John Rogers at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2010-2013). His recent research focuses on rubbery electronics, curvy electronics and bioelectronics. Dr. Yu is a recipient of several awards, including NIH Trailblazer Award, NSF CAREER Award, ONR Young Investigator Award, MIT Technology Review Inaugural Top Innovator of China, Society of Engineering Science Young Investigator Medal, SPIE Rising Researcher Award, SME Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award, AVS Young Investigator Award, etc.
