孙宝林，中国科学技术大学生命科学与医学部教授，合肥微尺度物质科学国家实验室研究员。中国科学技术大学生物安全实验室执行主任；中国科大先研院-卓源健康人体微生物组研究联合实验室主任。1999年于美国密歇根州立大学（Michigan State University）获得微生物学博士学位，并在1999年-2002年，于密歇根州立大学任研究助理教授。主要研究成果发表于Science，PLoS Pathog和ASM（American Society for Microbiology）期刊等国际高水平杂志。2004年，入选中国科学院“人才计划”，并于同年评为教育部新世纪优秀人才。主要研究兴趣：重要人类致病细菌（金黄色葡萄球菌，肺炎克雷伯菌及结核分枝杆菌）的耐药性和致病性调控的分子机制；细菌与宿主相互作用的分子机制。
主要研究兴趣：重要致病细菌群体感应与生物膜发育及致病机理；细菌非编码小RNA调控的细胞行为。
