MindGeek更是一度明确表示，不会上市。
而且，各路成人行业演员发现，无论是给哪家厂牌拍片，幕后大概率都是MindGeek在付钱。一旦有厂牌刚冒出头，MindGeek就会出钱收购。2014年，美国在线杂志Slate在一篇文章中直接宣称：“MindGeek已经在成人片界实现垄断”。
按照《经济学人》的观点，即便反垄断机构想要拿MindGeek开刀，恐怕都找不到机会下手。
这不仅是因为MindGeek旗下实体分散全球，用户遍布五洲四海。更主要的原因是：无论是拍片的演员，还是看片的用户，以及一些监管机构，大家都假装这个产业不存在。
