杨威，男，1986年12月出生，甘肃兰州人。博士，副研究员，博士生/硕士生导师（校优秀青年学者）。研究方向为盆山耦合碎屑沉积记录综合分析、含油气盆地分析、基于细粒沉积学理论的致密油气与页岩油气储层“甜点”地质评价。近年来主持国家自然科学基金项目2项，参与“十三五”国家科技重大专项2项，中石油战略合作专项1项，获省部级科技进步一等奖2项。以第一作者身份在地学领域知名期刊《Gondwana Research》《Basin Research》《Tectonophysics》《International Journal of Coal Geology》《Marine and Petroleum Geology》《Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology》《Journal of Asian Earth Sciences》《Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering》等发表学术论文多篇。现担任《Petroleum Science》副主编、《Terra Nova》副主编、《石油科学通报》副主编、《天然气工业》青年编委、《沉积学报》青年编委、《海相油气地质》青年编委。2016年8月入选中国石油大学（北京）青年拔尖人才B计划，2020年7月入选中国石油大学（北京）优秀青年学者B计划。
